About this property

Welcome to Premier Inn Manchester City Centre (Princess Street) hotel

Located in a striking redbrick building just off the A57(M), Premier Inn Manchester City Centre (Princess Street) offers straightforward accommodation in a city centre setting. The hotel occupies the upper floors of a multistorey car park, providing views over Manchester while maintaining a quiet atmosphere despite the proximity to a main road. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, parking, and an informal on-site restaurant and bar, all within a smoke-free environment.

Rooms at this hotel are described as unfussy but clean and comfortable, with practical amenities such as air conditioning, heating, tea and coffee facilities, and hairdryers. Several guests have noted the comfort of the beds and the peace and quiet throughout their stays, even with the location near busy city roads. The breakfast experience has received particular praise for freshly prepared and well-stocked options, with friendly and attentive staff adding to the overall positive impression.

The property is within easy walking distance of Manchester Oxford Road train station, making it convenient for both leisure and business visitors. My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and the experience was awesome. We especially loved the breakfast, always hot and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ramzan and Mark for a lovely breakfast. We enjoyed it!

I've been staying at this hotel for work trips for the last 3 years and I've found it to be consistently good. It's located about a 10 minute walk from Manchester Picadilly Station and is a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but well within walking distance of the main sights. It's also located very close to the University. The rooms have always been well stocked and clean, and the staff are a lovely lot! The breakfasts are well stocked and Ramzan is always very helpful. The restaurant offers a range of solid menu options that are ideal for evenings when you want to stay in.

I normally book Premier Inn, and this one did not disappoint. I stayed for one night and, despite being next to a main road, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night. It’s also in a great location, with easy access to the station, university area, and the theatre. The restaurant and bar staff were lovely, both in the evening and at breakfast. The food and drinks were great, and overall it offered excellent value for money.

A great hotel just outside of the main centre. Close to China Town & Gay Village, it's approx a 15 min walk into the centre of Manchester with plenty of coffee shops on your way. Tesco express around the corner, coffee shop, bars & restaurants also close by. The restaurant in the hotel is decent, pizza was delicious & the lady who served me (gutted I didn't get her name) was absolutely lovely! I was alone & felt safe the entire time, you have to scan your key to activate the lift & get onto your floor which makes it feel incredibly safe & secure. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Aircon & heating in the room was good, there was a full length mirror & a vanity mirror with a hairdryer in my room which was perfect. Considering how close you are to the ring road,it's incredibly quiet. I also didn't hear anything from my neighbours either side or upstairs. Overall, a really pleasant stay. Would recommend & come again :)

The Premier hotel is on top of the multi story carpark which is absolutely perfect. All the things you expect from Premier, however I do think that they don't have enough staff to serve in the restaurant. The food was very good and a large portion for the prices. Location wise, it's just on the outside of the busy city around 10 minutes walk.

I had a lovely stay at Premier Inn Princess Street in Manchester, but the real highlight was the breakfast experience. Chef Mark truly goes above and beyond, everything was freshly prepared, perfectly cooked, and delicious. The service was just as impressive. Ramzan welcomed me each morning with a big, genuine smile and made me feel completely at home. His warmth and attentiveness made such a difference and set the tone for a great start to the day. Exceptional food and outstanding hospitality, I’ll definitely be returning!

I have stayed here regularly over the past 3 years as its close to the University (completing an Apprenticeship through work) and I have to say I love coming here. The location is super convenient for me, and every interaction I have with staff is great. It's really lovely to see familiar faces, and banter bsck and forth with them over breakfast (Ramzan and Mark, I'm looking at you!). Rooms are clean and functional, beds are amazing, service is excellent.

Was really impressed by this Premier Inn which is located very close to Oxford Street train station and is handy for the O2 Ritz. My room was a lot bigger than expected and included a sofa bed. Not sure if this as standard as the lady at check in was surprised it was only me staying. The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. As the hotel is on top of a multistorey car park, the rooms start on the 10th floor so you get some great views over the city. Tea and coffee in the room. There's also additional supplies available in the reception area so you'll never run out which is a nice touch. There's also vending machines here selling chocolate and pop. The real surprise was the breakfast. Fantastic choice and good quality. Definitely recommend purchasing especially as the standard room rate is so cheap (I paid around £50 for a Friday night stay) The only negative (the reason for losing one star on the Service) is the self check-in machines. The first didn't respond at all. The second was sluggish then told me my room wasn't ready despite it being 18:15. A member of staff appeared and the look implied they machines were often problematic!
